To the Non-Smoking advocates in Boone County.
I have a question.
What else are you doing to reduce carbon emissions?
Mike and I both live off of 300S which is now classified as a major thru fare.
So every time you drive by our homes we are breathing your second hand smoke!
Based on some recent studies, (13 cities quoted by the Wall Street Journal) the driving of your vehicles past my home is more dangerous than me inhaling an cigar.
This is not to mention the light and noise pollution we have to endure.
When are you going to address the serious issues that mean something to the real public?
Thanks
L.J.

you want growth in W-town, well welcome to it!
Kevin is that you?
Some of the traffic is from 334 from being closed.I agree hopefully the truck weight law will get passed at the TownBoard meeting. I know for a fact that some of these trucks that come thru are over limits, run the 4 way stop at Main and Pierece and speed. If you look at the signs coming into Whitestown it says no trucks over a certain weight. Hopefully they can make it also to say...Local Deliveries only...the Cement trucks going thru are not stopping in Whitestown but they go to Zionsville and Carmel......Zionsville has signs that say that..that is why they come thru Whitestown...TIME TO STOP IT
I believe drinking Whitestown water poses an even worse health risk. I understand that it has caused Town Council to make a lot of poor decisions over the years.
Sorry my water is 90 percent better now that Carla Jackson isnt in office anymore. Give Susan and the others time to undo what Carla did..it cant be done over night
WOW! Murders in town and as always certain people are worried about a truck!
What a joke!
Murders?
I thought there was only the one committed by that Zionsville guy!
Mike I have a question...How do I file a complaint about an elected offical in Whitestown? Do I go to my Town Board elected person or do I contract a lawyer? This person loves telling everyone about some of the clients . So any ideas?
Well, I'm not sure. I don't know the specifics of the complaint or what it involves, but I noticed you received some good information on chatter.
If this has something to do with the performance of their official duty it would dictate a different response than some perceived wrong done to you on a personal level. You may try contacting the Prosecutors office for guidance.
I agree with not drinking the water, but seriously. I have never owned an SUV, boat nor have attended car races or demolition derbies (yes I know, you might want to check my passport and birth certificate). I bicycle to the post office and to run what few errands I do in Whitestown. I quit smoking about 10 years ago- come on, it not only stunts your growth, gives you cancer, it makes you poor. I don't agree with ordinances though, people should be able to make their own foolish decisions.
