Is there still an weather siren at Town Hall? I noticed last week when boone county was placed under a tornado warning that the siren didnt go off both times. Who do you report that too?
To the best of my knowledge the siren at Town hall (former firestation) is still functioning. Maybe the tornado warnings that prompted other towns to sound their sirens did not effect Whitestown.
I will inquire about this issue at tonights meeting. Thank you.
Mike, this is not pertinent to the fire board meeting, but nowhere else to put it... Did you see that the new daycare center in Anson is calling itself, "Primrose School of Zionsville"? Now correct me if I'm wrong, but not only is the building within town limits -- behind the new signs even -- but also their mailing address is Whitestown. Is Whitestown's reputation really so heinous that our businesses now just lie about where they are located? This isn't like the Lowe's that actually has a Zionsville mailing address. This is petty stuff, but incredibly annoying.
