Where is the alley in whites' addition? Is this the same alley that Sam Sorter wanted vacated?
I have no idea.
Is the town planning to resurface Main Street after all the sewer walk is done? I was ran off the road by a RedSUV.driving down the center of the road refusing to move over....so are they resurfacing or what?
Yes, the plan is to repave the roads once all the work is finished.
The water utility people told me that the resurfacing probably wouldn't happen until 2011. They are still going to replace sewer lines after they replace water mains.
Anon @ 8:27, I heard something similar from a utility employee. I feel bad for anyone trying to put their house on the market if they live in town. This place is a disaster.
I have to agree, the roads really suck right now, unfortunately the town must finish the waterline project in it's entirety before they are allowed to go after the grant to do the sewer lines. The grant procedure is what's going to delay the entire project and cause our roads to be a mess for a longer time. It would be great if they could just do the water and sewer lines at the same time.
